On top of this the groups you form into can impact on the effectiveness of the collaboration you undertake. The two main areas to consider when forming your group are diversity and support Diversity is important as it allows you to bring different skills and viewpoints into your group. A very diverse group is likely to give you more more ideas of how to solve the problem and greater flexibility in how you complete the task. Working with people you feel comfortable with and supported by in ensuring you can work effectively as a team. You have to be comfortable to share your ideas with your group members and to also to critique and support them where you can. |
