Instructional Videos - Weight Harness Construction
|
Weight Harness Design Introduction
In this video the initial thinking regarding the design of the weight harness is discussed. The video also runs you through what measurements you need to take in order to design your weight harness for your specific bungee jumping figure. |
|
Weight Harness CAD Modeling
This video is a step by step run through of how to use the CAD software (Designspark Mechanical) to model the weight harness and to export it to a file type suitable for 3D printing. The intention with this video is to have the software running and to have you follow along as the video plays. |
|
Weight Harness 3D Model Slicing - ZSuite
This video shows you how to use Z-Suite which is used to turn the 3D model into a set of instructions that the 3D printer can follow to print your harness. It also goes through all the considerations you need to make in printing the harness. |
|
Using the 3D printer
This video shows you how to take the file you exported from Z-Suite, print it on the 3D printer, remove it once finished and also remove all of the support materials so that you are left with the finished harness. |
Other Digital Tools
This is a tool that has been made to automatically generate the 3D file for the weight harness based on your measurements. Simply enter the values at the top of the page, press the play button, and export the file as a STL file.
