In this unit of work you will be creating an original board game that you will design and build using a range of fabrication tools in the STEM Centre. You will analyse games that are known to have flaws, individually brainstorm ideas for your game, work in teams to solidify your idea, prototype and test your design and then build your idea using the fabrication tools in the centre such as the 3D printers, laser cutter and electronics equipment. At the end of the unit you will have an original board game where every piece (board, counters, dice, etc) are designed and built by you. Below is an example of one such game that has been designed as an example.
